Achievements
We are proud to announce a remarkable achievement in the field of orthopedic innovation! Under the Tamil Nadu Innovation Initiatives (TANII) 2024-25, a funding of Rs. 9.61 crore has been sanctioned for the establishment of a Centre for Designing and 3D Printing of Orthopaedic Implants and Anatomic Models for Complex Orthopaedic Surgeries.
This Centre of Excellence is being set up in collaboration with TANCAM (Tamil Nadu Centre for Advanced Manufacturing) and the Department of Orthopaedics, Government Medical College, Omandurar Government Estate, Chennai. This initiative will pave the way for cutting-edge customized 3D-printed medical implants, significantly improving surgical outcomes and patient rehabilitation.
